     International director. Pint of Science Festival 

​      2017 - present

Pint of Science is an annual science festival taking place in pubs, bars and cafés in 24 countries across the world!

 

I select new countries and guide the directors all year round to be sure they can build a successful Pint of Science locally. I guide them in all the aspects of the festival, communication , organization, logistics.

To date, I've helped 18 countries to set up the festival. In 2019 we had 400 cities spread in 24 countries having the festival simultaneously in May during 3 nights.

​      2013 - present (volunteer role)

Pint of Science is an annual science festival taking place in pubs, bars and cafés in 24 countries across the world!

 

​I founded the French branch of Pint of Science in 2013; since then I directed it. I designed the communication strategy and coordinated the different events in France. The festival is now in more than 50 cities in France and reached 14 000 attendees in 2019.

      Research Associate. University College London

​       2010 - 2017

 

After my PhD, I joined University College London for 2 postdocs 

- 2010 to 2012: Jessen's lab, working on the peripheral nerve system

- 2013 to 2017: Kullmann's lab, working on a novel gene therapy treatment against Epilepsy. A patent has been published on that work.

Education
Descartes, Paris 5. PhD in Neurogenetics

​2006-2009

 

​I obtained a PhD in Neurogenetics after 3 years in a Neuroscience INSERM lab, working on Epilepsy at la Pitié Salpétrière, Paris.
